Ingredients:

For the Tandoori Marinade:

– 1 cup plain yogurt
– 2 tablespoons Schone’ recommended Tandoori Spice Blend

– 1 teaspoon ground cumin

For the Tandoori Chicken:

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– Tandoori Marinade (from above)
– 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

For the Tandoori Marinade:

1. In a bowl, blend plain yogurt, Schone Saudi Arabia Tandoori Spice Blend, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, ground turmeric, paprika, salt, and pepper. Create a flavorful marinade by mixing them well.
2. Set aside a part of the marinade for basting during grilling. The remaining marinade will coat the chicken.

For the Tandoori Chicken:

1. Create shallow cuts on the chicken breasts to allow the marinade to penetrate.
2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
3. Pour the Tandoori Marinade over the chicken, ensuring even coating. Seal the bag or cover the dish and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight.
4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
5. Take the marinated chicken from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before grilling.
6. Prevent sticking by brushing the grill grates with olive oil.
7. Place the marinated chicken on the grill and cook for 6-8 minutes on each side. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is fully cooked with a beautiful char.
8. During grilling, enhance the flavor and moisture by basting the chicken with the reserved marinade.
9. Once ready, transfer the Tandoori Chicken to a serving platter.
